Q: Can I tell the difference between lab created gemstones and mined gemstones?
Unless you're a certified gemologist with a powerful microscope, you won't be able to tell the difference between a MiaDonna® lab created gemstone and mined gemstone. Because these are grown gemstones and are real, diamond and gem grading labs hold samples of lab grown gems that give them the ability to distinguish the difference for fraud purposes. Other than this, their visual, physical, chemical and atomic make ups are identical.
