Two things contribute to the pricing of a man made diamond. One is the color. It takes different amounts of time and effort to grow different colors. The second is the finished color, cut, carat size and clarity of the stone.
1. White man made diamonds, because they are incredibly difficult to grow and are in extremely low supply, cost about the same as a white mined diamond equivalent.
2. Blue Diamonds do take more time to grow than other colors and are about 10% the cost of a mined blue diamond.
3. Yellows and Oranges are about 25% the cost of their mined diamond equivalent.
