Return Policy

We are confident that you will enjoy any merchandise purchased from us. In the event that you need to return or exchange any of the merchandise you ordered, please read below for information on how we can further assist you.

PLEASE NOTE: We are handcrafted jewelers at MiaDonna & Company. This means we put a lot of labor and love into making your jewelry perfect. When you order a MiaDonna® piece we make it exactly how you ordered it, especially for you, to make sure your jewelry is always of the highest standards. If a ring is returned, we melt it down and start again. There are many labor costs associated with making a ring this way. We are a consumer founded company so we continue to offer the 15-day trial period for free, WITHOUT any re-stocking fees but we ask you in return to make your choice wisely. Remember the mission of MiaDonna® is to supply funds to The Greener Diamond. Every ring we make and then melt down limits the amount of aid we can give to those we are working so hard to help.

All returned merchandise must be in new, unworn condition with:

  1. The return policy tag still attached to jewelry.
  2. Original invoice.
  3. Original certificate of authenticity.
  4. All free accessories including but not limited to the gift bag, presentation box and presentation box protector, jewelry cleaner, GGL certification card and any other free items returned in re-usable condition. Damaged free items will be subject to a replacement fee.

We do not refund shipping or grading card costs. Since shipping is free on all domestic purchases you will be refunded the purchase amount minus $25.00 original shipping, handling and packaging costs.

Please follow these simple instructions for returning an item:

  1. Your Return Authorization Code. Call 1-866-996-9642 or email us at orders@miadonna.com to request your RAC. You will then be emailed a Return Authorization Code in the form of a PDF letter with all your instructions. Please print and include this letter in your shipment to us for identification purposes.

  2. Package Your Return. Include all original packaging and collateral material. For security reasons, never put the word diamonds on a package you are sending – this is an invitation to thieves – please write "Miadonna".

  3. Insure Your Package. Ship your package via US Postal Service Express or Priority mail, insured for the total value of the contents. (FedEx® and UPS® will not insure merchandise over $500.)
  4. The recorded shipping date back to MiaDonna must be within 15 days from the confirmed date you received your package. Any item subject for return shipped outside of this time restriction will not be accepted for return.

You must follow these instructions exactly; failure to do so will prevent the processing of your return and could result in an additional charge or denial of your return. If you have any questions about our return procedure, please contact us at orders@miadonna.com.

MiaDonna.com will not be responsible for loss or damage of return shipments.

Only one item can be returned or exchanged per customer.

Our return and exchange process:

Once we receive your returned item and it is accepted, your refund or new item will be processed in just a few days. Upon receiving your return, the item will be reviewed by our quality department.

Orders not valid for return:

Please note that all "Ready to Ship or Sale items" and any jewelry showing signs of wear or those that have been custom made, engraved, altered, re-sized (by a jeweler other than MiaDonna), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return. Returns with no MiaDonna® return code (RAC), and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will either be refused or charged a processing fee upon our discretion.

Lifetime Guarantee

All Diamond Hybrids®, Lab Created Gemstones and diamonds are held to the highest standards before leaving the lab. However, if something were to happen you are covered.

MiaDonna Diamond Hybrids® set in our line of finished jewelry:

Our Lifetime Guarantee covers any color change or chipping due to manufacturer defects, as seen by the naked eye, for the life of the Diamond Hybrid® in ordinary conditions. Normal wear and tear is excluded. Any and all claims must be made directly with MiaDonna.com, must be accompanied by your original sales receipt and certificate of authenticity. MiaDonna Simulated Diamond Hybrids® submitted for a warranty claim will be subject to a physical inspection by MiaDonna.com and will be subject to a $55 processing fee plus shipping. If replacement is required, the hybrid stone will be replaced with one of similar size and quality. One warranty replacement per stone/order.
Please note: any sizing, resizing or repairing of your MiaDonna Diamond Hybrid jewelry by an NON-authorized MiaDonna jeweler will invalidate your Warranty.

The MiaDonna® Lifetime Guarantee is non-transferable.

MiaDonna Diamond Hybrid® loose stones:

Our Lifetime Guarantee covers any color change or chipping due to manufacturer defects, as seen by the naked eye, for the life of the Diamond Hybrid® in ordinary conditions. Just as with any natural Ruby, Sapphire or Emerald gemstone normal wear and tear is excluded and should be expected. While the Diamond Hybrid® is incredibly hard it is not indestructible. The Diamond Hybrid® guarantee is void on all loose stones set by third party jewelers unless said jeweler has been pre-approved by MiaDonna & Company and is listed as an authorized jeweler. All loose Diamond Hybrids® set in a third party setting by MiaDonna.com come with the full guarantee. Any and all claims must be made directly with MiaDonna.com, must be accompanied by your original sales receipt and certificate of authenticity. MiaDonna Simulated Diamond Hybrids® submitted for a warranty claim will be subject to a physical inspection by MiaDonna.com and will be subject to a $55 processing fee plus shipping. If replacement is necessary it will be replaced with one of similar size and quality. One warranty replacement per stone/order. MiaDonna & Co, will gladly set the new stone in your setting for $30.00 plus shipping if required.

Lab-Created Gemstone Jewelry:

Should your stone ever chip or break under ordinary circumstances, Chatham will gladly repair or replace the item at their option. Normal wear and tear is excluded. Simply contact MiaDonna.com to return the damaged item along with the original sales receipt to MiaDonna & Co. Chatham will then inspect the damaged stone and if a replacement is necessary, the stone will be replaced with one of similar size and quality. This is subject to a $55 processing fee plus shipping. If a loose stone is originally purchased, MiaDonna & Co, will gladly set the new stone in your setting for an additional $30.00 plus shipping if required.

The MiaDonna® Lifetime Guarantee is non-transferable.

Complimentary Insurance

MiaDonna's complimentary insurance covers unintentional damage or accidents and situations that damage your stone that are not covered under our Lifetime Guarantee. Our complimentary damage insurance is for pre-existing customers only.

While the Diamond Hybrid® is incredibly hard it is not indestructible. All MiaDonna Jewelry is susceptible to the same types of peril that could damage any fine jewelry with earth-mined stones. It is important that you adhere to the following guidelines for wear and care of your MiaDonna Jewelry:

  1. Be sure to remove your jewelry when doing activities or duties which would strike, repeatedly wear, knock or potentially cause damage.
  2. Never put multiple earth-mined and/or lab-created precious stones and gems together as this could scratch your stone.
  3. Keep lotions perfumes, oils, cake soap, and skin oil away from your jewelry. Please keep your stone clean as this will ensure maximum fire and brilliance. For cleaning instructions click here.
  4. The best way to clean your MiaDonna jewelry at home is to use warm water, mild dish and a (very soft) children’s tooth brush. For professional cleaning, see your local jeweler for ultrasonic and steam cleaning. For more detailed information please visit MiaDonna.com.

Wear or use of the MiaDonna Simulated Diamond Hybrid® under conditions not considered normal for fine jewelry as outlined will not be eligible under this unintentional damage insurance program. Any and all claims must be made directly with MiaDonna.com and must be accompanied by your original sales receipt and certificate of authenticity. Diamond Hybrids® submitted for our complimentary unintentional damage insurance claim will be subject to a physical inspection by MiaDonna.com. Valid claims will be charged a discounted fee of $195.00 per carat towards the replacement of the damaged stone/s plus shipping fees. The deductible charge covers replacement of the damaged stone and re-setting of your new MiaDonna Simulated Diamond Hybrid®.

Theft, Loss and Damage Policy

Please protect yourself. Most homeowner, renter, and comprehensive auto insurance policies should cover the loss and or damage of your fine jewelry. We are willing to provide you with any necessary paper work needed in order to cover your jewelery through insurance you already pay for. For loss or theft of a MiaDonna Simulated Diamond Hybrid® please consult your insurance agent. If your insurance company should deny your claim, please contact MiaDonna.com and we will do our best to help you through this process.

Lifetime Upgrade Policy

MiaDonna is a research company and will always continue to research for the best diamond alternatives that are made with diamond. When we develop a better technology, if you have owned a MiaDonna product for at least 24 months you can upgrade to the latest technology for a significant discount. We will contact all our customers if and when new technologies are available.
