Because fancy colored diamonds are so rare in nature, they are incredibly expensive. This allows for a significant price break when you purchase a fancy colored MiaDonna® man made diamond. In the case of white diamonds, the technology used to grow white MiaDonna® man made diamonds is still being perfected. White man made diamonds are very rare themselves and subsequently cost about the same as an earth mined diamond.
