HOW DID YOU FIRST LEARN ABOUT MIADONNA AND WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO PURCHASE FROM US?
I had a very specific vision in my mind for what I wanted my engagement ring to look like. When Phillip and I connected with the team at MiaDonna, they were there for us every step of the way, helping us make every little tweak and detail until we created the ring of my dreams. The experience was so personal, and I really appreciated how they helped bring my vision to life.
HOW DID YOU AND YOUR PARTNER FIRST MEET?
Phillip and I met each other on the first day of high school, in world geography! It took some time, but we started dating sophomore year of high school and then eventually found our way back together Freshman year of college.
CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ENGAGEMENT RING! WHICH RING DID YOU CHOOSE, AND WHY?
I customized my ring and ultimately went with something classic and timeless. I chose a 3-carat marquise diamond paired with a 4mm rounded gold band. I love that it feels both elegant and unique while still having that timeless look that I know I’ll love forever.
MIND TELLING US THE PROPOSAL STORY?
My family has been going to the Outer Banks since I was a kid, and once Phillip and I started dating, he began joining us on our family trips. He bought the ring at the beginning of the summer and secretly schemed with my family to come up with the perfect proposal.
We had rented a house on the sound side with a private balcony overlooking the water. Phillip set up candles and a blanket and waited for me at the end of the dock while my sisters convinced me to come outside to take pictures. When I got to the end of the dock, he was waiting for me and popped the question. After I said yes, my entire family came down to the end of the dock to celebrate with us. It was such a special moment, and having my family there made it even more perfect.
