LIFETIME MANUFACTURING WARRANTY

MiaDonna’s jewelry, diamonds, and other gemstones are held to the highest standards before shipping to you. All gemstones and jewelry items are carefully inspected for quality at multiple stages prior to shipment.

Every MiaDonna purchase, regardless of item type or price, includes a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty covering your lab-grown diamonds, lab-created gemstones, and the craftsmanship of your jewelry. This Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty is effective from the date of purchase, only for purchases directly from MiaDonna, and is non-transferable, except for transfers from the original purchaser to a gift recipient.

If your item is damaged caused by a “Manufacturing Defect” (defined as: flaws in the material or workmanship), we will repair it at no cost to you. If your item is not repairable, we will remake or replace it at our expense.

Any repairs, alterations, or services performed by anyone other than MiaDonna or its approved affiliates will void the MiaDonna Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty. Always contact MiaDonna before having work done by another jeweler.

While diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry are very durable, they are not indestructible. Gemstones, including natural and lab-grown diamonds and gemstones, can chip, scratch, break, and even shatter from normal wear-and-tear over time. Jewelry can also be damaged, bent, broken, or become discolored from wear-and-tear. Proper use, care, and cleaning of your jewelry will help minimize these issues and help to ensure that your jewelry lasts a lifetime.

LIFETIME MANUFACTURING WARRANTY – GEMSTONES & JEWELRY

MiaDonna’s Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty for gemstones and jewelry covers flaws in the material and workmanship, as well as the optical characteristics of your lab-grown diamonds and lab-created gemstones that are directly caused by Manufacturing Defects (defined above). It also covers defects in the material and workmanship of your jewelry and settings caused by Manufacturing Defects.

What is covered:

Flaws in the material and workmanship in your gemstones, including lab-grown diamonds, caused by Manufacturing Defects.
Changes in gemstone or metal appearance directly caused by a Manufacturing Defect (not due to residue, chemical exposure, contamination or wear-and-tear).
Chipping, breaking, scratching, abrasions, or loss of stones directly caused by Manufacturing Defects.
Flaws in the material and workmanship of your jewelry and settings caused by Manufacturing Defects.

What is not covered:

Physical damage or defects of lab-grown diamonds and other lab-created gemstones, including, but not limited to, chipping, breaking, scratching, loss of stones, including loss of center stones, due to normal wear-and-tear, abuse, misuse, trauma, improper cleaning, improper storage or failure to perform reasonable maintenance. Examples include:
- Spraying with perfume or chemicals.
- Cleaning with chemicals not intended for jewelry.
- Wearing while in a hot tub or swimming pool or while bathing, as extreme temperatures and certain chemicals can discolor gemstones and metals.
- Storing multiple gemstones or jewelry items together, which can scratch the gemstones or the metal.
Accidental damage to jewelry or gemstones, including lab-grown diamonds, due to fire, flood, or other natural disasters.
Thinning of prongs over time as part of normal wear and tear. This is not considered to be a manufacturing defect.
Loss or theft of jewelry or gemstones.
Jewelry or gemstones, including lab-grown diamonds, that have been repaired, altered, or had services performed by any third-party other than MiaDonna or its approved affiliates.

HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM

Contact us to tell us what happened. Please provide images or videos of the issue you are experiencing.
Send the item to us. We’ll provide you with a pre-paid 2-day shipping label, and directions for packaging your item for evaluation.
We evaluate it. Our team inspects the piece to determine whether it's covered under the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty. Our jewelers can typically determine with a high degree of accuracy if the damage is caused by a Manufacturing Defect or if it is due to wear-and-tear or trauma to the gemstone and/or jewelry.
We will make it right. If it's covered, we will repair, remake, or replace the gemstone and/or jewelry at no cost to you, including return shipping. If it falls outside the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty, we'll send you a fair, competitive quote before doing any work — the choice to move forward is yours.

MiaDonna & Company, LLC reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or update this warranty at any time and at its sole discretion, without prior notice. The version of the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty, if any, in effect at the time of a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty claim will govern that claim, regardless of when the original purchase was made. MiaDonna also reserves the right at its sole discretion to determine eligibility and coverage for all warranty claims.

HELPFUL INFORMATION

Insurance

We highly recommend that you insure your MiaDonna gemstone and/or jewelry purchase. Most homeowner’s and renters insurance policies cover the loss and/or damage of your fine jewelry and gemstones. Insurance companies typically just need the receipt of your purchase in order to add your item to your policy. You may use your MiaDonna receipt which you received via email to provide to your insurance carrier. If you no longer have your receipt, feel free to Contact Us, and we’ll be happy to provide you with a receipt of payment for your jewelry and/or gemstone purchase. Please note that coverage may be subject to jewelry sublimits unless your item is specifically scheduled.

Tips to extend the life of your jewelry and avoid damage

Be sure to remove your jewelry when doing activities or duties which would strike, repeatedly wear, knock or potentially cause damage to your jewelry item.
Never put multiple earth-mined and/or lab-created precious gemstones or jewelry items together, as this could scratch your gemstone or the metals.
Keep lotions, perfumes, oils, bar soap, and skin oil away from your jewelry. Keeping your gemstone clean will help maintain maximum fire and brilliance. For cleaning instructions, click here.
The best way to clean your MiaDonna jewelry at home is to use warm water, mild dishwashing liquid and a very soft-bristled toothbrush. For professional cleaning, Contact Us for options.

Repairs for issues unrelated to a Manufacturing Defect

MiaDonna offers both repairs and restorative services, like cleaning, polishing, tightening of prongs, ring sizing and more. Repairs unrelated to a Manufacturing Defect are available at a fair, competitive price – we'll always send you a quote before any work begins.

Ring Sizing

MiaDonna offers one FREE ring sizing for up to one full ring size (either up or down), including shipping both ways, within 90 days of shipment of your original purchase to make sure that your ring fits just right. Outside of the first 90 days, we offer ring sizing at a fair price, as long as we can maintain the integrity of your piece. Please note that eternity rings cannot be resized, but that MiaDonna will re-make eternity bands in the new size one time within 90 days of shipment of your original purchase. Special Note About Diamond Hybrid® Jewelry

As of September 2024, MiaDonna no longer offers the Diamond Hybrid® as a center stone option.

If you purchased a piece featuring a Diamond Hybrid® prior to that date, it remains covered under our Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty. As noted above, the version of the warranty in effect at the time a claim is filed governs that claim, regardless of when the original purchase was made. Please note: any approved warranty replacement of a Diamond Hybrid® stone will be fulfilled with a Lab Grown Diamond of equal size and similar quality, rather than a new Diamond Hybrid®, as the Diamond Hybrid® is no longer in production.
