LIFETIME MANUFACTURING WARRANTY
MiaDonna’s jewelry, diamonds, and gemstones are held to the highest standards before shipping to you. All gemstones and jewelry are carefully inspected for quality at multiple stages prior to shipment.
Every MiaDonna purchase, regardless of item type or price, includes a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty, covering your Lab Grown Diamonds, Lab Created Gemstones, as well as the craftsmanship of your jewelry. The warranty is effective from the date of purchase, only for purchases from MiaDonna, and is non-transferrable.
If your item is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it at no cost to you. If it is not repairable, we will remake it at our expense.
Any third-party repairs, alterations, or services performed by anyone other than MiaDonna or its approved affiliates will void the MiaDonna Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty. Always contact MiaDonna before having work done by another jeweler.
While diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry are very durable, they are not indestructible. Gemstones, including natural and lab grown diamonds and gemstones, can chip, scratch, break, and even shatter from normal wear and tear over time. Jewelry can also be damaged, bent, broken, or become discolored from wear and tear. Proper use, care, and cleaning of your jewelry will minimize these issues and help to ensure that your jewelry lasts a lifetime.
MiaDonna & Co. LLC reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or update this warranty policy at any time and at our sole discretion, without prior notice. The version of the Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty in effect at the time of a claim will govern that claim, regardless of when the original purchase was made.
LIFETIME MANUFACTURING WARRANTY – GEMSTONES & JEWELRY
MiaDonna’s Manufacturing warranty for gemstones covers the material and workmanship, as well as the optical properties of your lab grown diamonds and lab created gemstones due to manufacturer defects. It also covers the material and workmanship of your jewelry and settings due to manufacturer defects.
What is covered:
- Defects in the material and workmanship in your gemstones, including lab grown diamonds, due to manufacturer defects.
- Fading, clouding, or discoloration over time of gemstones, including lab grown diamonds, due to manufacturer defects.
- Chipping, breaking, scratching, abrasions, or loss of stones due to manufacturer defects.
- Defects in the material and workmanship of your jewelry and settings due to manufacturer defects.
What is not covered:
- Physical damage or defects of gemstones, including lab grown diamonds, including, but not limited to, chipping, breaking, scratching, loss of stones, including loss of center stones, due to normal wear and tear.
- Physical damage or defects of gemstones, including lab grown diamonds, or jewelry including loss of center stones due to abuse, misuse, trauma, improper cleaning, improper storage, or normal wear and tear. Examples include:
- Spraying with perfume or chemicals.
- Cleaning with chemicals not intended for jewelry.
- Wearing in a hot tub or swimming pool. Note that these chemicals can discolor gemstones and metals.
- Storing multiple gemstones or jewelry items together which can scratch the stones or the metal.
- Accidental damage to jewelry or gemstones, including lab grown diamonds, due to fire, flood, or other acts of nature
- Thinning of prongs over time as part of normal wear and tear. This is not considered to be a manufacturing defect.
- Loss or theft of jewelry or gemstones
- Jewelry or gemstones, including lab grown diamonds, that have been repaired, altered, or had services performed by any third-party other than MiaDonna or its approved affiliates.
HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
- Contact us to tell us what happened. Please provide images or videos of the issue you are experiencing.
- Send it to us. We’ll provide you with a pre-paid FedEx 2 Day shipping label, and directions for packaging your item for evaluation.
- We evaluate it. Our team inspects the piece to determine whether it's covered. Jewelers can identify with a high degree of accuracy if the damage is due to a manufacturing defect or if it is due to wear and tear or trauma to the jewelry.
- We make it right. If it's covered, we repair, remake, or replace it at no cost to you, including return shipping. If it falls outside the warranty, we'll send you a fair, competitive quote before doing any work — the choice to move forward is yours.
HELPFUL INFORMATION
Insurance
We highly recommend that you insure your MiaDonna jewelry purchase. Most homeowner, renter, and comprehensive auto insurance policies cover the loss and or damage of your fine jewelry. Insurance companies typically just need the receipt of your purchase in order to add your item to your policy. You may use your MiaDonna receipt which you received via email to provide to your provider. If you no longer have that, feel free to Contact Us, and we’ll be happy to provide you with a receipt of payment for your jewelry.
Tips to extend the life of your jewelry and avoid damage
- Be sure to remove your jewelry when doing activities or duties which would strike, repeatedly wear, knock or potentially cause damage.
- Never put multiple earth mined and/or lab-created precious stones and gems together as this could scratch your stone or the metal.
- Keep lotions, perfumes, oils, cake soap, and skin oil away from your jewelry. Please keep your stone clean as this will ensure maximum fire and brilliance. For cleaning instructions, click here.
- The best way to clean your MiaDonna jewelry at home is to use warm water, mild dishwashing liquid and a (very soft) children's toothbrush. For professional cleaning, Contact Us for options to clean or restore your jewelry.
Repairs for issues unrelated to a manufacturing defect
MiaDonna offers both repairs and restorative services, like cleaning, polishing, tightening of prongs, ring sizing and more. Repairs unrelated to a manufacturing defect, available at a fair, competitive price – we'll always send you a quote before any work begins.
Ring Sizing
MiaDonna offers one FREE ring sizing, including shipping both ways, within 90 days of your purchase to make sure that your ring fits just right. Outside of the first 90 days, we offer ring sizing at a fair price, as long as we can maintain the integrity of your piece. Please note that eternity style rings cannot be resized.
