POSITIVE: Even if you order the diamond on the smaller size, it will appear big because it is raised and unobstructed by the crown when it sits in. I got a diamond around 1.15 size for 5.5 size finger, and it looks like a 1.25-1.5 ct diamond. I feel like getting a much bigger diamond would take away from the ring and look tacky.
